Secret Following

So I found out today, that people read my blog who I didn't think knew I had a blog. At first I was slightly creeped out by the thought that people were following my life through the internet and I would never ever know. Then I realized, thats the reason I have a blog, so that I can share what is going on with my life with numerous other people.

So to those of you out there, quietly reading my blog and not posting comments, all I have to say to you is "cool beans" which is a weird way of saying "thanks"

One step closer to being a famous blogger

Ode to Cori

So regardless of the fact that I wasn't able to fly out to Chicago with my mom to see Cori and her son (I'm not bitter), I am thinking that I am really happy to have her as a sister.
Actually, after writing the line above, I set out to find pictures of the two of us on her blog and others and I just realized how much I really miss her. I miss laughing and joking with her, with our very lovely sense of humor. I miss eating pizza with her, and discussing our "high tensions". Her ability to still be cool and approachable, even though she is in fact a mother. In fact, right this very moment there is no one else I would rather be then with her.

And the book addiction returns

I am sure if you search the internet you will find several blogs and/or websites that are saying the same thing, but I just finished a fabulous book.

I had read about it on Stephanie Meyer's website and was like "meh" whatever. But then I noticed it again on one of my sister's friend's blog. So this morning I drove out to Barnes and Nobel and did something I don't usually do. I bought the book. I'd never read it, but my sister and her friend have fabulous taste when it comes to books so I decided to chance it.

I couldn't put it down.

I read and I read and I read, and when it was over I couldn't believe that there was no more. In fact I got online to find out when the second one comes out and, wouldn't you know it, it doesn't come out for almost another year. Oh well, I have the book now and can keep reading it over and over again. If you haven't read it yet, do, because it is amazing.
